SUMMER – SUNNY FRESHNESS

In summer the idyllic holiday resort of St. Sigmund in the Val Pusteria welcomes guests to enjoy fabulous hikes and trips of discovery in the surrounding mountains. The alpine scenery of the Dolomites is an excellent holiday destination for hikers, cyclists and fans of climbing. Culture and nature lovers can make the most of wonderful destinations such as the Issinger Weiher – only 4km away – or head off on a variety of day and half-day trips into the Dolomites, to Merano, Lake Garda or Venice.

WINTER – SNOWY ENCHANTMENT AND FUN ON THE SLOPES

In winter the snowy slopes of the nearby winter sports resort of Plan de Corones (12 km, free ski bus for guests!) and Gitschberg (15 km) promise all kinds of fun with skiing, tobogganing or snowshoe walking, and are just right for both families with children and demanding sportsmen and women. The ski depot (restricted) at the Reischach valley station is available to our guests for a small fee. Very close to the hotel you will also find fantastic winter hiking routes and cross-country skiing tracks.
